Are there any confetti/streamer cannons with reusable mylar streamers? My choice here is to reduce cleanup for myself or anyone else stuck with the task. I know there are cannons for one time use streamers and the like. I'm looking for a cannon that houses several silver mylar coils which remain attached to the cannon and are reusable. I use a hand-held winder to wind coils so winding several mylar coils would be no problem for me.

Hi Randy,
I appreciate your wanting to make it easier for clean-up afterwards, but I think that it is impractical to want to "re-use" mylar streamers fired from a C02 confetti launcher. Although confetti shot from the cannon is a bear to clean-up, the streamers are very quick! Actually, if there are any children in the audience, they will clean them up for you by taking the spent streamers home. I use the remote operated units from Streamers Effects International (located in Canada, but ships worldwide). The owner, Ty Reveen, is Peter Reveen's son. I have been extremely pleased with both the product and the terrific customer support. Ty does all of the international rock star shows, but has treated me extremely well. You will spend cash every time you shoot these off (streamers & CO2 cartridges), but the oohs & aahs are always worth it. Streamers Effects has any combination that you can imagine, including a lot of mylar streamers and confetti. Again, not re-using the mylar streamers is just my opinion. Maybe others have had positive experience. Lou |

Mylar will not fly the same way paper does. I use a 150' mylar coil in my act for years. It just does not handle like paper.
You are on the right track with using streamers though. I stopped using confetti years ago. It is almost impossible to clean up. The streamers are quickly picked up. If you have kids in the audience, they think is neat to great to grab them and will end up picking them up for you. One cavet, do not aim them too high or they get caught in the lights or ceiling areas. I cuss guys out every year at Abbott (Chezaday) for shooting them into the lights. I have also seen guys make the dump tanks out of regular compressed air tanks. This saves a bunch of money on the CO2 cartridges though it is not as compact. Richard
