Here's a neat article I found on how to approach people with magic.

Ellusionist has a How To Do Street Magic dvd that Brad Christian states that they put an iron-clad money back guarantee on the fact that you will perform powerful street magic within hours of receiving the revolutionary 'How To Do Street Magic'.

I especially agree with the last sentence of the article.

I just got done reading Win The Corwd by Steve Cohen. I found this book too be very helpful in approaching people and also I have some more confidence when performing for strangers.

Well the article shows that the use of common sense will be a better impact on street magic than any video can be.
I actually found the idea to walk up to somebody on the street and ask if he wants to see a trick rather awkward. I mean how many times have You seen a singer walk up to You and asking if he could sing You a song, or some actors asking if they could show You a play? Why force Your efforts on someone when You can make him ask for it? If You're interesting they will look. If they look You can look back, smile, wink and do something interesting. When some stop and stare others will be curious too... |

This is a good article with a lot of advice in it. But I think I have posted the same article here some time ago... but I could be wrong of course.
