That's true.
But it'll come quicker with help from people that already do it. Get to a juggling club or find a convention. RW

Hi Magicguy67,
Juggling will come, with time, if you practice. I taught myself 3 ball juggling with the help of the "Klutz" juggling book that comes with 3 square, juggling beanbags. They are square so they won't roll all over the room when you drop them, which you will, and are beanbags so they don't bounce away. Make sure to stand next to a bed (the larger the better) while practicing and juggle over it so you won't get tired from bending over to pick them back up when you DO drop them. If you do get tired, well, your in the right place! The best thing is to start slow. Use only 1 ball and get used to passing it from hand to hand, and without looking at it. Use your peripheral vision. When you get used to this and you can pass it back and forth at about the same height (head high to start) each time, then add a second ball. Get used to the "switch" of tossing one and then getting rid of the second to catch the first. Practice this over and over. This IS juggling. You will drop them. They will start to "walk" and you will find yourself reaching farther and farther away from you. This is normal. Just keep practicing. Finally, when you get used to 2 ball juggling, add the 3rd ball. The main thing is take your time. Practice for 5-10 minutes and then put them down. Go away for a bit and then practice some more. You'll be surprised at how fast you will learn by trying for a short time, stopping and doing something else, and then practicing some more. Good luck. Juggling is a lot of fun. Just take your time and it WILL come to you. Mark. |

I taught myself how to juggle from a Mr. Rogers episode when I was 8. This thread is about 6 months old, so I doubt you're still looking for advice on 'how to', yet I'll still suggest you practice to some music, or better yet, a metronome. Start off slow, tossing with the beat, then slowly increase the speed.
