I've been working on two Water Torture Cells back to back these last few weeks. I've completed one. This version has lexan on all sides. You can take a look at it at http://www.richardsherrysmagic.com.
Any comments are welcome! Richard |

I looks wonderful Richard,
just a couple of questions, Is it on wheels, or does it have to be dolly'ed independantly And, just out of curiosity, why the diamond plate for the floor? it there an advantage to that? Anyway it looks beautiful, use it in good health.. Break a chain, Cliff

Richard...
Very cool looking. I like the heavy industrial look of it. Going with the chrome or nickel finish really makes it pop. A few questions if you don't mind. What are the dimensions? Is it indeed Lexan (GE's brand of Polycarbonate), or is it acrylic? How many gallons does it hold? Great job! Kevin

Cliff---The WTC comes with a removable base with wheels. The diamond plate provides grip if one chooses to do the WTC standing up.
Kevin---This particular cell is 26" x 26" x70". It is made of lexan and holds approx. 175 gallons. Thanks for all the kind words. Richard |

Very nice looking prop indeed. I also got a chance to see Kevin from Living Illusions perform their water torture cell and I must say if you get a chance make sure you see it live. The tank is even more beautiful up close and Kristen does a great job with the escape. They were performing it in Vegas about a week ago and I brought by some Vegas showroom magicians and they love it.

Its a great looking tank and its so cool! Just out of interest how thick is the Lexan because the pressure of the downward force of the water mass must be very great indeed. 175 gallons that's a a lot of water. JA |

Richard,
Beautiful job. It's great to see that there are such creative craftsmen in the business such as you and Kevin. I may need one in the future, but I absolutely need one in the past. If you can create one in 1987 I'll pay handsomely. Back then I could have fit in the 26 inch square, but these days...... Ace

It looks so amazing I wish I could afford it.
they thought it was impossible until they met me.

I hope that this isn't a rude question, but I'm curious, what would a piece such as that cost for one of us to purchase?
Cheers, -Matt (TK) |

Hello Matt
There are many variables that must be considered on a per customer basis. Therefore each WTC price is different. Richard |

A beautiful piece of Art there!
Would have been a handy Prop to have for the WEAR event seeing that I was surrounded by natural sources of water but no access to them "Thanks" to Hurricane Wilma! Grrrr Congrats on your work there! C |
