Try putting a little baby powder (NOT fanning powder) on the balls. Knock off excess and see if that helps. You don't want much as it WILL as noted above affect your hands, etc. But, a small amount may just work. If that doesn't I would try to find a hard solid ball the correct size. All best,

Who'd eat something like this? They are pretty soft though, not much noise problem loading them.

If the final load sometimes sticks, then the ball is not spherical. If the final load always sticks, then the ball is too big.
Assuming it's the first case, the best solution is to put a couple of (nail sized) holes in the ball. This will release the pressure on the side of the cup as the balls come out. Needless to say, the balls won't bounce as well.

That reminds me of the kiwi trappers sketch from Saturday Night Live in which Dan Ackroyd and John Belushi showed how they capture kiwis by rustling Candice Bergen into a bag. Kiwi wrangling and cat juggling - that's the life for me.
