Perhaps there is a scent of lady-scorpion pheromones on the selected (forced) card.

Just a note on scorpions.
It was probably an emporer scorpion. 4-7 inches long looks black, but they are usually a dark green or brown. Of all the different types of scorpions emporer scorpions are the lest aggressive, and the least poisonous. They just look the most dangerous. They are used in movies all the time. I owned an emporer scoprion for 4 years, and they are dumber than bricks. I cannot imagine using pressure points, or any other "training" to make the scorpion do anything. Of course I may have had a dumb scorpion. Also the scent or phermones that male scorpions detect from the females are detected by their pectoral combs. Small feather like appendages on the underside of the scorpion. Exciting huh! And lastly all scoprions react to black lights. An emporer scorpion will turn a very bright shade of Turquoise under a black light. A cool trick all on its own. Enjoy, grieve |
