Say I have several good ideas I'd like to see published. How do I go about
1. selling my idea to a company? or 2. Getting my idea published? I don't know if at this point doing something like this is possible, but I'd like to try. My next questions are 1. I'm making a video. I doubt it would be good enough for a preview video or even a video I can sell. But what happens if it is? How would I go by ways of getting it out there? 2. How would I market it? Would I sell it to a company or produce it myself? 3. How do I keep my ideas from getting stolen? and 4. What are the possibilities of selling a homemade video or idea? Any answers are welcomed. Thanks for reading! |

Find a magic shop you're comfortable with... They may be able to help you.
I'm assuming it's an idea for performance?

Hi Eman,
Sounds like you're trying to market information. Much money has been made marketing information. Let me take your questions one at a time: 1. selling my idea to a company? I wouldn't do this. Generally speaking, you'll make a LOT more money selling it yourself. 2. Getting my idea published? Self publish it and sell it using direct response marketing. 1. I'm making a video. I doubt it would be good enough for a preview video or even a video I can sell. (Just a note here...if you don't believe in the product yourself, it will be very hard to sell it.) But what happens if it is? How would I go by ways of getting it out there? Put direct response ads in publications that cater to the needs of your prospective customers. 2. How would I market it? Would I sell it to a company or produce it myself? See above. 3. How do I keep my ideas from getting stolen? Don't market it or sell it at all...just keep it to yourself. 4. What are the possibilities of selling a homemade video or idea? Very good. People sell homemade videos all the time and some make very good money at selling their information this way. The main thing is that in your advertising, sell the information...don't sell the slick video with all the cool editing going on. As long as the information is clearly heard, seen, and/or understood your customers should be happy. For more information on information marketing, I'd check out Dan Kennedy at: http://www.dankennedy.com If I'm not mistaken, he offers an information product marketing system. Good luck! |

I second Dan Kennedy. Others will tell you it is just Dave Dee stuff, but the man taught Dee how to market. Also, he does offer a product about how to sell ideas. I am looking to sell mine as I have no use for it anymore, PM me if you're interested.

Eman,
About the video questions...Take a look at: http://www.customflix.com/ you will have to do the marketing on your own, but you can do this on the web and via offline marketing too. |
