Just got Baxt's Lantern Lie Detector, and am having a load of fun with it.

I use it only at adult shows, mostly for companies, so my questions are often job related ("Are you good at your job?" Bzzzzt!)

I was wondering - what are your favorite lines for use with the lie detector when doing adult shows?

I think this has been discussed here before. I thought I read something about it when I was lurking. But I can't seem to find it now.

For an Adult show, you can go in a lot of good directions. To a man: Have you ever had sex? Wait until he answers and then say "With a woman?", and buzz him.

Still with a guy: Are you married? To a woman? Even cheated on your wife? Wait a second, and ask; with a woman?

With a Woman; same stuff.

With a couple, have them swap the lantern. and play them aginst one another

By "adult" shows I mean "grown ups" as opposed to kid shows. I like your first line, but it's a bit too direct for my venue.

It's definitely a comedy prop. I wouldn't recommend it for serious mentalism.

Far better in my opinion than Baxt Lie detector, is the Lie Detector Helmut.

It really puts the spec into the act, and seeing somebody standing holding that metal "device" on their head is already funny..
