Hey everyone,

I was told from a magi friend of mine that somewere in the tarbell course there is a method to produce a wine glass from behind a fan of playing cards. After the production the glass is clean and velcro is used for this. I have looked everywhere for it in the books and cant seem to come across it. But many magicians know for sure it is in there. I was wondering if anyone remembers seeing this and if so cantell me which book it is in. It is a wonderful illusion to end a manipulation routine and the appearance is startling. I have been working with this effect for a while thinking I invented it but unfortunately I sure didn't, and from what I hear the method given in tarbell is wonderful, easy, and breathtaking. Let me know if you come across it...

Thanks everyone,

DJ

Also,

I am aware of the effect like this that shimada does, but that is a little glass of wine not a full sized one like in tarbell, and not the method I am looking for...

I do not think Velcro existed when Tarbel was written.

I stand corrected, Velcro was invented in 1948 and patented in 1955. Oops!

If velcro was in Tarbell it's probably in volume 8, by Harry Loraine.
POOF!
