The "almost" porn was the ONLY reason for watching this over-hyped boring atrocity.
SAW I & II were 100 times better. Just my 2 dollars worth at the nudie bar, Doug |

The movie was disturbing on many levels! Hated the slicing of the guy's achilles tendon!!

Ouch! Having almost had that Achilles Tendon severing happen to me in a bicycle accident when I was younger, I will now most emphatically give this flick a serious pass.
My upstairs neighbor, Jean Summeria, of Oak Park, IL, was the first person to ever have her severed Achilles tendon re-stretched and attached back in the 1950's I believe it was. I almost followed suit in the early 60's after flipping over the handlebars and catching my foot on the peddle. It hurts just to think about. Lee Darrow, C.H.

I must say, it takes a twisted person to make a movie like this...
But it was really good. |

It was alright, but definitely not a horror movie. The chicks were kinda hot though The idea that this kind of thing could really exist in parts of the former USSR felt plausible and very disturbing to me. The eye ball thing could have been done better, but it was actually the scene in the movie that disturbed me the most. The ending was righteous and satisfying in a demented sort of way.

I couldn't help but laugh through it. It was a horrible film. It was supposed to be one of the scariest things and most of it was porn. Not really scary. Mystery was given away halfway through the film. My opinion, bleh!
