Okay here's a beauty of trick..Its more of an update of an old Copperfield effect.
Effect: A deck of cards is handed out to be shuffled by spectator 1. Then spectator2 is instructed to reach anywhere into the deck, pull out a card, shove it in his back pocket, keeping its identity a secret form everyone -including himself. the magician then takes out his cellphone and asks spectator 2 to hold his hands wide apart. The magician snaps a picture.. ending 1: the magician then shows the photo he took. In the photo you see spectator 2 with his hands wide apart- but between them is a card. he then removes the card or turns it over to show that the magic photo matches the selection. Setup : After a once off setup - you will be able to perform this impromtu anywhere anytime. Requirements: a cellphone with a camera (a nokia is prefered) So what do you think ? worthwhile? Very interesting...if it doesn't require a gimmicked deck or a stooge this could kill..
Looking forward to know more about it. Doron.

This is a great old Polaroid effect. Much more impressive with a Polaroid camera.
It's all in the reflexes.

Great idea! It's a nice reworking of an old trick involving the technological advancement of this generation.

Like the idea a lot. I think it could be very popular with teenagers as they are the target of the camera mobile phone.

McGyver,
I think I just saw the routine you've just mentioned. Similar to the one you were explaining and was done by Marco Tempest. Check this link http://www.youtube.com/w/%28Korean%29-Ma......magician Happy Magic! Sal |

Anyway, that was a nice effort on your side McGyver! To come up with an idea like that is really something. Cheers!

Interesting to see Tempest also performs Icarus Effect on that television programme.
