Hi,
I just saw this 3 DVD set. Anyone has any thoughts on this? I have never seen this before, is this new? Phil |

Oh, my. Lee is a talented fellow, fo sure. Here's the skinny from:
http://www.mentalismunlimited.com/QuestionAnswer.html "After acquiring the rights from Brad Burt (the original producer), Lee Earle's Q&A Teach-In has been converted to DVD format! It's a primer on the Question and Answer act that brings you up to speed on this extremely entertaining presentation. Volume 2 of the series is a re-release of the original SuperScript video instructions that formerly were available only in a $100 limited-release package. It provides a solid, believable Graphology premise for the most skeptical of audiences - plus a method that practically works itself. Volume 3 covers Lee Earle's current EZ-Q&A routine - with permission from an original idea by Bruce Berstein - with subtle secrets and handlings never before revealed. The basic method was tipped in The Sunshine Boys DVD but this video includes the ideas Lee kept to himself. All three DVDs have FREE graphics (available via a private link on our website) that allow you to produce the same performance materials Lee uses, via your ink-jet printer. Each DVD is $34.97 plus postage. The set of three, purchased as a bundle, is $89.97 plus postage

Save you money! Keep away for this! LEE EARLE don´t care about their customer! The DVD´s seems like illegal copys ´cause are so poorly made and it´s label is made of paper!!! Vol 3 is almost a copy of vol 1. Just little bit differences. I don´t own vol.2 and I even don´t think in buy it! Scratches all over both DVD´s! What a h... has happened?
Shame in LEE EARLE! p.s.: HANK LEE was the dealer that sold this to me and as a international customer (Brazil) is too expensive to get my money back... Even this was possible... (just in my dreams!) |

I have volumes 2 and 3. Fantastic! I did a little bit of a review in the Penny For Your Thoughts forum.
Bosco: Instead of complaining about the manufacturer and the dealer you bought these from and saying they are no good (I did not have these problems) Contact the dealer and he will replace them for you. They may have been damaged in shipping, or by your customs people. Get a grip, and do the mature thing. Tony |

I´ve sent mail to HANK LEE and he was so kind and polite in his answering! Neither custom or shipping process can open an package like my was. Sending back DVD´s is to expensive and I´ve no asking for you blessing to do "mature things"! Dealer and manufacturer has responsabilites and those DVD´s are VERY POOR in contents! I think I can say that after 10 year as mentalist... And I think is my obligation warning people about products like that, don´t you think? |

Yesterday you were saying they were all scratched, I made the assumption that you had not been able to view them. Today you say the material is poor. In my opinion, the material (contents) of the DVDs is very good. I explained that earlier. Perhaps there is confusion because of the language difference. The problem could be your experience level or expectations of the material. Performance material is very subjective, some like one style or type of material, others enjoy something else. That is what gives us variety. The Q&A act itself is an acquired taste to mentalists. Most would not ever approach it for a host of different reasons. Perhaps the boldness of the material does not fit you and you then believe that the material is poor. IT IS NOT! It might just not fit you. Not everything is for everyone. There is no shame in that, we all buy things we don't like, or expect to be different. It is the mature person who takes that as a lesson and realizes that, that direction, method, or type of effect does not fit them. Tony |

In the beginning the vol.3 (wich is almost a copy of vol.1) just doesn´t work. You tell us a lot about Lee Earle´s hair and forgot to mention that his Q&A is just pre-show work! Don´t you think this is just a little to a DVD? Are you Earle´s friend or what? |

Bosko:
No, I met the guy once, when he lectured at my SAM assembly. It may not work for you, but the material works for me and several others who have posted in the 3 threads concerning the DVDs. And yes, I am jealous that he has so much hair. Tony |

Have you tried e-mailing Lee from his web site?
Others seem to do well with these DVD's...maybe it just isn't for you. There are some basic stuff I can't do and the rest of the world can. The anti-gravity body lift can be done by every 8 year old but seems impossible to me. Then I will go ahead and do a stage hypnotism show which is supposed to be much harder. You seem very emotionally invested in your experience. That's fine, but nobody ripped you off...just have them replaced. It isn't that tough to mail DVD's...it would be nice if everything goes perfect but what happens when it doesn't? Do you remain calm and solve the problem or get madder and madder and rant? I very often choose the latter, evidenced by my posts, both public and deleted. Remaining calm and solving the problem is a better solution every time, it's just hard to remember sometimes. I had Lee Earle's version of Psi-Graphico...another Q & A type presentation based on handwriting analysis. I bombed with it, the rest of the performers who use it get great reactions. Some have been using this for over 10 years. That doesn't mean I got ripped off...everything isn't for everyone. If you are really interested in performing this take another look at the material. It has been proven to work by many others who are more concerned with audience reaction than a scratched DVD. |
