I just bit the bullet and registered for this great smaller scale magic gathering. David Merry, Charlie Frye and Mike Bent are just a few of the performers who will be there that I am looking forward to seeing. Mike Bent, especially, had a great lecture I saw at Kidabra with tons of practical stuff for kidshow performers.
I hope to meet some of you at the conclave. Anybody else going from the New England region or farther out? See ya soon. Bill |

Im workin on it! I really hope I can. I have a question, I'm a child and am the one attending, what rates does my family get? Are they spouses? (;)) or full fares?

Baskitboy5,
I'm sure you could get a discounted rate for your family. In fact, I bett if you e-malied Hank directly and explained your situation, you could get them in at a VERY reduced rate. How old are you? Everyone, I'm going to to try to go. It will be my first magic event ever! How many people generlly go? Is it ok to get a room at a nearby cheaper hotel? I Is anyone interested in splitting a room? -Daniel |

I know Eric is lecturing and I bet he is performing too. Should be great. To answer your question Daniel, it helps Hank if people get a room at the Sea Crest, because that helps with the bottom line. That said, I am in a huge financial crunch this year and will probably go with a less expensive option. The package at the Sea Crest does include all meals from dinner Friday through brunch Sunday and, if you can swing it, is a great way to get to know other magicians.

Hey Bill,
Yeah, unfortunately, I'm in a bit of a crunch too, and the Sea Crest is just too steep for me right now. I'm sure I'll buy lots of stuff from Hank's Shop, which should make up the difference a bit. Where in Southern, VT are you? I live in Northampton, MA which is only 30 minutes or so from Brattleboro. -Daniel |

Yep, I will be performing (friday night) and lecturing (don't know when) and selling my "Phoney" Magnets at a booth.
See you all there! |

Hey Daniel, I'm about a half hour north of Bratt.
Hey Eric, Not sure I'm going to recognize you. Are you really as tiny as your avatar suggests? Looking forward to your lecture! |

Yes I am.
