I'm looking to get hold of a 4 coin nesting set like the one Dean Dill uses for one of his dinner napkin effects, but I'm looking for it in UK currency.
I've contacted the more common gaffers and they can make them for me but as I live in Scotland, it's a bit of a pain having to send the coins across the pond then getting them sent back. Is there a UK gaffer that I don't know of? If you have any advise it would be really great to hear from you Boyd |

I don't have their contact details here right now, but Bob Swadling and Eddie Gibson are UK based as far as I know.

The 4 coin nest is a nice set of coins. I had a set and then recently sold it. The fourth coin is very thin, so you have to show it very quickly.

Of course not in the UK, but Jaimie Schoolcraft makes Dean's gaff coins and he's the best around. His quality is top knotch and shipping a small package internationally is not that big of a hassle.

Dean Dill was also the first to develop the 4-coin nest. Johnson Products actually produced the first set. I did not know Dean then but we're close friends today and he's told me the history of this great gaff.

I've used a four coin nest for the longest time. It was called a twenty one cent trick. A sliver or ingenuity and a few minutes with some emery cloth would have made the locking dollar thirty five into suitable gaff for many applications. Likewise an English Penney ] and an expanded EP ] probably made things interesting for folks back in the 1970s.
Without taking this into secret sessions, there is some merit to assigning a new credit to the history for the idea of making the nest one coin thick.
...to all the coins I've dropped here
