Not only that but you are merely listing from a limited number of DVD's...
Lists are irrelevant - context, continuity, patter, persona are as/more important than lists...
catch you later

Ye Ive heard that one before...'you gotta present everything and have the patter.' OK, that's very important (and I concentrate on doing that all the time) but without the trick you may as well have no ****. You guys know it.
And yes I did look at the other posts on this kinda stuff but you know people (just like me), they always want things fresh and don't want to have to look all the back to the first topics because they may be dated. However, I did look around...didn't see much impromptu stuff (INVISIBLE DECKS?! cmon. Anybody got killer impromptu stuff that doesn't take up all of your pockets, but doesn't involve 'old skool' sleight of hand. |

Here's some walk around, impromptu effects I'm usually ready for.
"Recap" w/ "Coin to Pen" var.. "Ghost Bills" w/ "Traveling Cash" if I have an elastic band. Coin 2 Key var. w/ Florida Keys var.. Different coins across routines. "Hanging Coins". "Gadabout Coins". Penny to Half $. "Cigarama" Garcia/Chanin. "Ghost Touches". Some pre-planned stuff: "Cigarette thru Quarter". "Self Folding Bill" "Ringer" IT stuff. "Metalogic" and "Stirring Silver" if a spoon is available. A lot depends on where I'm going and what's available there. I have borrowed a shoelace and wedding band for a ring and string effect and plan to use this with "Ringer". |

Hey jaz, good to meet you, thanks for the info...where did you find most of your coins across routines and stuff? The only one I do is make the three apear using jay's techique, then I move into Greg's coins across, then I finish with jays three coins disappearing...

(ok hit me back! lol, sorry couldn't hold myself back) UNLESS U r not of legal age....please keep on practicing!

Ok.
please tell me why ring of truth is not suitable for beginners (bearing in mind that I am experienced in magic, though not mentalism, so if it requires 'practice' or 'patter' then I wouldn't say that it isn't reccomended for me). Thanks |

Lots of patter and a bit of something else (i feel that if I say what it is it might give away the secret), so if you are experienced I REALLY recommend it!
note that you need to carry NOTHING on you, it can be done completely naked, and is not limited to a ring, it can be just ANYTHING Finally this unique approach and method to the classic Liar's Paradox (Ring of Truth) is explained in full detail by Patrick G. Redford. After circulating underground, prevaricator finally makes its debut. Hailed by many to be the ultimate version of the classic liars paradox with a catch, there's no logic puzzle! * No Logic Puzzles Used * No Stooges * No Secret Cueing * No Set-ups * No Dual Reality * Stands Up to Repeat Performances * Impossible To Backtrack * The Outcome May Be Predicted * May Use Any Object * May be Performed Impromptu * Can be Performed Close-Up * Can be Performed On Stage * ONLY ONE QUESTION ASKED - "DO YOU HAVE THE OBJECT" * No Extra Props Needed
Double posters should be shot!
No really!! |
