Just curious what you use for pre show music.. If I remember correctly Lance Burton uses Elvis...not sure about Copperfield... Those of you fellow Café members that use pre show music..please chime in and tell us what you use.

Arthur Stead Making Magic has some good music on it, and it is royalty free. Different styles to set different moods, depending on what you're looking for. As a side note, I've recently purchased Tim Hannig's cd with some excellent pre show announcements on it, and mixed some of those in with the preshow music. It went over great! I just used it in a show this weekend, and the audience really enjoyed the comedy announcements. It got them laughing and built up their anticipation for the show and went over very well!

I'm glad you enjoyed the preshow announcements.
As far as what music...of course it depends on the audience. I use upbeat stuff for a family audience (chicken dance, ymca, "up up up" etc.

I second Arthur Stead's music.
What does this have to do with a review?
