Hello, this is my first post to the new users forum and it is so exciting!
I have made three resolutions as a new user: 1) Always remember I am wearing my magician's hat here 2) Use the search function before asking a question 3) Always put in serious practice with the method before crying for help Having gone through my method, I am now posting. I have the Airborne with any bottle and have used it with a few of my adult classes. I was able to pull it off and because they asked me to do it again, I think it ws effective. However, I was using a liqour bottle which IMO suits the gimmick well, but I want to do this in my kid's show. I can keep it out of sight at the beginning and end and of course everyone is looking at the glass during the middle, but the apparatus is visible and it doesn"t look right on a soft drink bottle. Which leads me to my two questions: A. Is the the gimmick visible on the bottle specific versions? B. Is there an Airborne with any glass item out there? I appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks very much. |

There are varieties of Airborne out there that are built into cans. I have a Coke can one, by MAK Magic (I think). It came with the can and a cup to do the whole illusion. Filling the can can be a little time consuming, but it works well, and nobody should see the gimmick. It's also wholly appropriate for kid shows.
That's the extent of my Airborne knowledge, hope it's helpful. Kevin

Thanks for the tip Kevin. Truly appreciated. I have seen that one advertised and I think I'll give it a try. Ben

There is also a "fits any can" version. Very cheap and very reliable. I've been using it for years....I bought it here in Japan, but I'm sure I've seen it on the internet.
