Hi,
I posted this in the, 'Up In Smoke' section but I think I might get better results here... I just purchased a Fire Wallet for the first time and am quite pleased but the smell is getting to me a bit. I've searched the Forums and found some ideas but am hoping we can brainstorm a permanent solution. I'm using the yellow Ronsonol and have tried mixing a little bit of cologne but my wallet still smells pretty strong of the lighter fluid. I'm thinking that it's going to make any pants I wear veeeeery smelly... Any Thoughts? Jamie D. Grant

Ah, you should soak a sponge ball in lighter fluid, then it would light on fire when you open the wallet. Then put it in the spectators hands while it in of fire...
That would give me quite a laugh... My fire wallet doesn't work anymore. It is full of lighter fluid, and the flint is working great. It just wont seem to light. Anyone know what I can do??? |

Jamie,
Maybe you should look into a housing, like a plastic box, slightly larger than the wallet. Perhaps that would help eliminate the odor in your clothes...... If that doesn't work, try spraying the back of your pants with Febreze......lol

Some after shaves are alcohol based and can be used instead of lighter fluid, experiment to get different scents, some are bad.
