Does anybody know who (if anyone) currently holds the rights to Mel Stover's "Beadless Abacus"? I have a project I'm currently working on, which would involve me teaching it, assuming I can contact the person who has the rights to it, and get their permission.

What is the name of the little plastic whipping top which started to go backwards after spinning a while?

I think you're talking about a rattleback, but it might also be a tippe top.
