Why does Edward Woodward has four D's in his name?

Because he's THAT good. Now I have to go watch The Wicker Man again. By the way, I refer to this type of name pattern as a "Foghorn Leghorn," after the old cartoon character, for obvious reasons. I try to come up with lists of outstanding Foghorn Leghorns in different fields, such as baseball (Nolan Ryan), football (Dexter Carter), chess (Laszlo Szabo, but you have to cheat just a little), music (Edgar Winter), etc. I don't think I've tried to come up with my favorite magic Foghorn Leghorn, but since you mentioned Woodward, it's worth thinking about.

Guess they forgot to tell Bill Buckley. "...as we reason and love, we are able to hope. And hope enables us to resist those things that would enslave us." |

Just realised the grammatical error in my question... but I wrote it at about 2am in the morning! So... Why does Edward Woodward have four D's in his name?

This puzzle is better, and funnier, done vocally.
