Hi All!

Does anyone out there know the best (and fastest) way of tarnishing brass?

I decided to polish my 'Matchbox Block' but now I want it to look like it did originally (sort of dirty and grubby - it masks the gaff better).

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

What I have done with my matchbox penetration is to to slightly rub it with a sponge dipped in very thin black ink. In this case the ink being a translucent paint instead of actual ink. The ink "sinks" in the groves and creates a neat effect od depth and when polishing the next time will come off. At least you can find inks at stores that sell roleplaying stuff. Hamleys in London would be good bet.
