Hey Everyone
I did my first birthday show today and it went great. The kids were into every routine and laughed as if they were cued. I would like to thank everyones that posts on here that pointed me in right direction. Reading them along with Mr. Ginn's books and watching Mr. Scott's birthday show DVD made me turn up the volume on the entertainment. Thanks again, as I get more experience I hope I can post information that will help others as you have helped me Glamourboy (Ryan) |

I'm glad it went well. I have a question, do you perform under the name 'glamourboy'? I'm in the San Francisco bay area and believe live and let live but that name is disturbing. Good luck with the shows, hope you find success.

No I don't work under the name glamourboy, I have been involved in wrestling for 7 years also and that is where the name comes from. Allthough that would be funny

Ryan,
Congrats on your success and first show. It is always the hardest to take that first step. But you have taken the step and can now continue easily onwards into a journey that is sure to be exciting for you and for your audiences. Just always remember that evry time out there you can learn. Never stop learning and take notes after every performance. This is a great way to remember what you did right, what you may need to work on and any ideas that you can add to your routines to make them even better. Kyle

Great. Welcome to the world of entertainment. Kids are the most challenging yet most rewarding audiences. Good show old bean!

That is so true Griff. kids will often times not think twice of telling you exactly what is on their minds whether you want to hear it or not. They can be a difficult corwd or market to master but it also can be the most rewarding and fulfilling as well.
It is great to see that Ryan has taken the most difficult step and that is actually going out there and doing a show. There is so much you can learn from just the art of doing. Kyle

Thank goodness. I get nervous with some names used on line. One kid used a name that wasn't at all masculine, I'm talking girlie (didn't have the word 'boy' in his). A name magician ran into him on line, thought he was a she and legal and hit on him. This idiot kid really ran down this magician as some sort of gay marauder and ran him off the net with the attacks. So when I see some names I think "oohhhhh sh*t".
