I've narrowed down my wish list to the following:
super sharpie deep astonishment II a card to wallet device ultimate ace assembly one question about the super sharpie, I described the trick to my wife she immediately said oh obviously there is a way that you are writing while the person reveals the number. seems obvious to me also, do people pick up on this? are your hands left "clean" quickly afterwards? thanks for the advice. |

Mdkk, in answer to your query, yes you are "clean" quickly. Quite quickly I might add from my own performance of this and I have only owned it for about a month. I happen to love this a lot and perform it relatively ofte. And might I suggest the Mullica card to wallets (there are two now, the hip Mullica and the orginal breast pocket version. ) NO palming, and quite easy to do.... eugene burger loves this effect but came up with his own handling after recieving this without instructions. (If I remember the video correctly)
I don't care how fast or slow you are.... As long as I am faster.. -J-

1) Deep Astonishment II
2) Super Sharpie 3) Hip Pocket Mullica 4) Ultimate Ace That's how I would prioritize them. Yes, you end clean with Super Sharpie. Deep Astonishment II will freak out your wife. |

With regards to the supersharpie, I think its best if you don't just use it in a "think of anything and I will predict what you will say" type of routine. If you use it in a larger piece with multiple principles at work, it will hide the method better.

Supersharpie is the way to go, ultimate ace assembly looks good but takes a ton of preperation and multiple gaffed cards that YOU HAVE TO MAKE YOURSELF!

Deep Astonishment II is a beautiful routine; it's been (co)released by Paul Harris, which says a lot! I agree that the 'Ultimate Ace Assembly' is far from that! (for better ones, see John Bannon's 'Bullet Train' in Dear Mister Fantasy). Card to wallet is a real workhorse and (when performed perfectly) is a strong climax to any signed card trick.

1) Deep astonishment
2) super sharpie and I think it is how you act and perform that made a perfect illusion. Evey trick has an obviously explaination. Just that people can't find out how you make it. |

Ultimate Ace Assembly looks good but is too limiting for my taste. DAII hardly ever gets a bad review.
