I am looking for a good card watch (where the card appears inside the watch crystal, and then disappears), but I want the watch to actually look like a watch that someone would actually wear, and I would prefer it if the fading in and out was controllable.
Never criticize someone else until you have walked a mile in their shoes. Then, when you do criticize them, you will be a mile away from them and you will have their shoes.

Mike Bornstein in new york used to have one that was gold tone and not too bad looking and I've seen a black banded type at the hocus pocus site - I have not seen one that you can control the fade in - but you could control it by keeping the stem out until needed and then push it in but you would not of course be able to have the correct time on the watch.
