I bought an Airclick when they first came out and use it a lot for stand up gigs where I may play music before and after the show but not during. (for that I have my Stage cue!)
Unfortunatey I destroyed it (car door + open box + inattentive magician = bad) and was about to get a new one when I realised that since the Airclick there are huge number of similar products out there. Is it the best one to get or do others beat it? |

Hi Nicholas
I brought the ABT iJet after reading on a music tech forum that the buttons are easier than the Airclick. I can't compare them myself but the iJet works well for me from considerable distances and through major obstructions and the buttons are very easy to find in your pocket. PS Congradulations on the Taylor's Superday gig, look forward to seeing your show there. |

Hey Nicholas
Too bad about your accident with the AirClick. I'm not sure there are a "huge" number of RF remote solutions for the iPod, but I assume you were happy with the AirClick, and being a magician myself and all, I will gladly replace your unit at no charge if you will promise to try to not crush your props with car doors from now on. PM me with your shipping address and which iPod you have, and I'll send a replacement AirClick right away. Take care Jason Griffin Technology

Wow! That would be fantastic Jason! I promise I will treat it like a baby.
The airclick is a great tool! I had a peer who bought an IPOD remote (infra-red) that was terrible. It turned me off the idea for a long time. I felt like an idiot when I got the Airclick and saw how great they COULD be! I've heard good things about the ABT IJet but the bottom dock remote has all the buttons too close (as does the apple one which looks like a shuffle) |

Bill,
I think you can play with options on the ipod to help take care of that. if nothing else, the AirClick does have a volume control.

IPod offers a Sound Check feature to standardize the volume of all the songs in your music library. In the main iPod menu, click on Settings - Sound Check - On.
Take care Jason

Jason,
that is great service. Congratulations on your product (which I use a lot) and on the service. BTW I am thinking about upgradding my Ipod (mini) to a Nano, hoping to get a better battery life, but I cannot use it for nothing until you tell me you have an Airclick ready for this particular model. Thanks |

We have an AirClick product coming out soon, it's in tooling, so it shouldn't be too long before I make an announcement, and yes, it's compatible with iPod nano. Thanks for the interest! Jason Griffin Technology

Jason,
I checked my ipod today and I did have the sound check "ON". Still the tracks are at different volumes.

Jason's service is awesome!
I've been beta testing his new system that works with the airclick, and I love it. If you guys are looking for an easy to use system for your music, this gets my vote! And it has these great benefits: easy to see display auto pause one button touch to fade out and cue next track and much more!
