Howdy -
Are "back issues" of the KJ available? I am interested in obtaining them, but unsure whom to ask. I have posted this in the KI dicussion forum - way at the bottom of the topics list in the "Professional Resources for Your Kidshow Business" section. If the post should be placed in a more appropriate place by a moderator please do so. Thanks. peace, phill

Howdy to you too Phil,
I just got off the phone with Mark Daniel and asked your very important question. As you know we are a new organization and the first and second run of the KIDabra Journal were run very near the exact amount of the existing membership, with a few extra for new members that month. As of Today May 31st, 2006, the only issues left are held for the purpose of historical significant of the organization. There are no back issues of the KIDabra Journal. As in all magazines, somewhere in the future they may be put up for sale, and that is where you may be able to pick up those issues. Each year, at the KIDabra Auction, many back issues of MUM, Linking Ring, Genii and Magic Magazine, as well as old TOP, Abracadabra, etc. seem to be auctioned off. Maybe, this year, if lucky, someone might let theirs go. I for one, will hold on to mine for many years. Dennis Michael KI Forum administrator PS. Before I called Mark, I also sent Sammy Smith a copy of your posting and email address since he is the editor, but this discussion did occur between Sammy and Mark.

Hey Trixy,
No problem, go to kidabra.com then click the Join button and you'll see International member as a selection. $90.00 US for the first year then $75.00 annually gives you full membership including the Journal. We currently have KI members in 9 countries, if you join us you would be our first Swedish member. Thanks, Mark |
