Justin Higham has released a new DVD titled "Three False Shuffles." I have long desired the ability to do a convincing false shuffle, but card mechanics are far from my strong suit! The DVD description stated that it is intended for people who have progressed to an "intermediate level in magic." I have studied and performed magic for over 30 years, but am certainly not 'intermediate' level in card work. Should I look elsewhere for a false shuffle to meet my needs? If so, any suggestions for other sources would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you for your help!! Tom |

Harry Loryane's books and DVD's contain excellent false shuffles. I think you'd get better value for your money going with Harry, or Alan Ackerman's DVD on false shuffles.

Are the false shuffles taught on this DVD 'in the hands' or are they on a table?
My preferred 'in the hands' false shuffle is the Heinstein Shuffle. My preferred table false shuffle is a push through. K.C. |

K.C.,
Thank you for your response! I believe the false shuffles on this DVD are 'in the hands.' Is there a good source for a 'push through' shuffle? Tom |
