In your opinion, what is the best Tenyo product? Also, where can I buy Tenyo products in Japan? Thanks.

You can buy them in most of the Magic Shops.

In my opinion , the die thing is the best.

For some reason I cannot explain Tenyo has become very collectible, I recently sent a list of much used magic and the hottest items were Tenyo. As for my favorite I would say Blue Crystal, Sandwich Platter & Invisible Zone. If you cannot find Tenyo in Japan that is a problem since that is where they are manufactured. To purchase the complete line I would say is probably impossible now.

Gator magic (www.gatormagic.com) sells a LOT of Tenyo stuff, including discontinued items.

I think The Prison Box is kind of cool, as well as Eye of the Idol, and Telesphere. Invisible Zone would be way cooler if it didn't have that tacky writing on the front (can't remember if it's a sticker or not).

I definitely think that telesphere, Eye of the Idol, and Prison Box are kind of clever.

You can buff off the writing with some fine steel wool. You'll want to do the entire surface of the lid as is dulls down the finish a bit.

You can also use this gizmo as a purse frame and produce sponge balls or coins out of it as well.

Now that we are on the subject of Tenyo I would have to agree that Eye of the Idol is neat, I think I will have to go through my Tenyo again because most of the stuff is really neat the way it works of course the problem with it is the plastic ( too bad ).I still find myself playing with The Blue Crystal though very visual. Also forgot to mention that Angelo Carbone is a big dealer in Tenyo http://www.tenyoworld.com I believe.Check it out.

Hi

you can find all 2003 Tenyo here (with video clips)

http://www.tenyo.co.jp/magic_en/catalog/index_new.html

and here some more infos:

ESCAPE KING

CONFINED CUBES

The 2003 Collection is rather disappointing for me.
For me the Tenyo 2002 items looked much better: (Prison Box and Mystery China Box)

For me the best item from Tenyo is CRYSTAL CLEVER. I show it sometimes in my Close Up Show. It is very convincing, because you use a real ring from a spectator.

Here's a description and a video performance:

Hope this helps

To Benard,

Actually, you can go most department store in Tokyo and look for the floor level of toys. There they should have magic counters that sell Tenyo items.

I was lucky that this year I went to Japan on April and able to get Mystery China Box, the Escape Ring, Swing a Ring, and Antigravity Rock. Not to mention the lastest catalogue from Tenyo Smile

I forgot to get the Salt Cups!!!

Good luck in Japan magic shopping.
