As a person who has never seen a clowning act (ashamed I tell ya I'm ashamed!) I think this clip was awesome nontheless.

Gotta love the axe in the head. Some very good parts in it, and some "outdated" stuff too. Great clip to learn about timing and routining.

That clip is from the 1950s movie European Nights. Other segements include Channing Pollock doing his act and British comedy magician Mac Roney.
