I have this, it only cost a tenner so I thought why not. Got it along with Dual Cyclone. It looks very visual, as a coin seemingly appears from nowhere on top of a deck of cards. This is the description of the effect:
The magician removes a deck of cards from his pocket. He takes out the cards from the box and shuffles the deck. The magician fans the deck to show all the cards. The magician closes the fan and then shows the deck front and back, he also fairly shows both of his hands empty. With just a wave of the magicians hand over the deck a coin appears on the back of the deck in a blur from out of nowhere!! Blur is not only a very visual stand alone effect, but to the coin magician it is an excellent utility device that opens up whole new possibilities within their coin work. Also perfect companion for In a Flash by Jay Sankey (Available in our Jay Sankey Section) Questions & Answers Will I have to learn sleight of hand? Nope! Blur does all the hard work for you. No palms, false cuts, shuffles or counts! Does this use threads, magnets or other setups that need to be worn? No! This is super clean and resets in an instant. All you need to perform BLUR are some playing cards and a coin (plus the special precision device included) Can I use ANY coin? It's a normal ungimmicked coin and can be of any currency. Blur is compatible with the following coins: UK - 10p, 20p Euro - 20 cent, 50 cent, €1 US - 5 cent,Quarter Can I use this to vanish a coin as well as make one appear? Yes. It takes a bit of practice, but the process can be reversed so you place a coin on the deck and suddenly it's gone! What about angles? Blur is pretty much angle proof. It can be performed surrounded and with short sleeves so no sleeving, cuffing, ditching, toppiting or pulls! |
