Lots of people say that one of the best ways to really get business is if you have some sort of a "gimmick" or personality that makes you different than other magicians -- and therefore, more marketable.
For instance, a magic buddy of mine holds a world record for card throwing, so he uses that to market himself. Another friend of mine does stage magic, but has a sort of "boy band" kind of presentation where he sings and dances during and between effects. I'm wondering what some people do for that or if anyone has any unique ideas on the subject. I'm kind of trying to hone in on one for myself. |

Welcome to the magic Café. Look for those natural characteristics that are already a part of your persona, and exadurate them on stage to create a bigger than life version of you. That is what has worked for me. HAVE FUN Al Angello

My USP is that I am primarily a ventriloquist who does some magic. Vent is very unique in my area and especially in the area of children's parties (which I specialize in)
