I have a couple of tailor made suits that I wear while performing. The main thing is to have as many pockets as possible.
My pants have two tiny pockets in the front (just below the belt loops and two inches from the zipper on both sides). These are perfect for storing coins. Make sure your jackets does not have flap on the outer pockets. This is not the norm. However, there are some "off the rack" jackets like this. Inside the jacket, make sure that you have additional small pockets on the bottom. One is standard on higher end suits. I like having one on each side. A deck of cards will fir perfectly in these pockets. The upper inside pockets are great for keeping a variety of props. In custom suits, I have these made large enough to hold jumbo cards. I also have a pen pocket installed to hold a Sharpie. I have a wooden cigarette pull in the left sleeve of each of my jackets. I also keep a Raven in the right sleeve. I hope this helps. |
