Hi I wanted to know if Sal Piacente's card cheating exposed is any good I have Richard Turner the cheat and I think it is absolutely amazing is there anything on sals dvd that I can add to my repertoire that Richard Turner does not already have in his dvd. Also I have heard that Andrew Wimhurst, David Malek, as well as Steve Forte all have great dvd's on the sublect, although Steve's is not a teaching tape any help would be great guys thanks.

I don't own Sal's DVD, but from what I know of him I'm sure it's excellent.

I've seen Malek's DVD and while not a complete set (it's part 1 of a planned mult-part series) it is excellent.

Richard Turner's The Cheat DVD is full of serious sleight of hand moves with cards. They are extremely well-performed in most cases. For the price, it's a must-have.

The Forte tapes are otherworldly. Not yet available on DVD. Get them on VHS anyway if you have any brains at all.

The End.

I echo Jason completely. Forte has actually been revealed as a cyborg, model T-4ACES I believe. Smile

I don't have any "Card cheating" videos except Forte's. I did have Allan Ackerman's Volume on False Dealing when I first started, but asides from deals, I "learnt" most moves from watching Forte's slo-mo replays enough times. It is a demonstration only series, but if you have a clue with cards already you can pick up many of the moves from watching Forte's exposed angles on the tapes. As well, I really think Forte's tapes are best used as a benchmark and consistent motivation to keep practicing (at least that's what I love about them).

Take care

EMVT, what is your goal after watching said DVD? Do you want to learn how cheats operate or how to do moves?

Hi EMVT,

I have GPS and Sals Poker Cheats DVD's. They are one of a few that compare favorably with Steve Forte's timeless classics. I cannot recommend this set highly enough. He covers most of the cheating techniques and exposes new information such as how to falsify the wash for a small slug or a full deck control, new stuff on location play, a ton of info on marked cards, falsifying casino style table riffles etc etc. Its worth every penny.

Regards,

Just to add .02 to the conversation...

I have all of these and have to say that Sal's is very good. As a matter of fact, out of all of the ones listed, if having someone teach you the moves is your goal, then Sal's is probably the way to go. Forte's are without a doubt expose/demo in nature, Turner's does not go enough into the teaching side for a lot of folks and Malek's is more along the line of Forte's. But, this is not to say that you cannot learn from any of them, just that I think you will find Sal's to be more instructive.

Thanks for the info guys you're a great help the reason why I am posting about these other DVD's is because everything that I learned was from Erdnase as this is the bible to me and many others, it has helped me win many cash card games as I go out and hustle, yes I am a card cheat don't hate me (lol) which is why Richard Turner's DVd is so great because most of his sleights derive from Erdnase which are very practical.

Now I know he just really teaches the moves that are very applicable in a game such as great bottomdeals which are good, very powerful centers which are a great tool in a game etc.etc. Although he doesn't show you how you go into the move? how do you come out of the move? that's the hustlers code I mean you see many guys just putting these cards on the bottom of the deck on dvd's and just dealing them out I mean anyone can do this, well not everyone I guess.

I know many people say it is hard to learn from Erdnase but the opposite is true if anyone really has the nerve to sit down and really take the time to learn and observe what he is saying and who plays cards a lot and I'm talking in real life situations they will truly see that he is the expert at the card table.

Anyway from the responses that I've got and from the demos that I've seen I will definitely be picking these dvd's up hoping there is some new material for use and pleasure I know I won't be dissapointed.

Thanks for everything you guys are great!

Well...if you like Erdnase, then you really need to check out Darwin Ortiz's Annotated Erdnase.

I was given a copy before it went to market and thought to myself, I wish I could have hit the market with a cheating DVD for this huge texas hold/poker wave along with my dvd series! Great timing from a business end, but the quality and professionalism is right on too.. Great DVD in my opinion too. r

I'd have to vote for the Forte videos over Sal's.

As several people said, you also have to be aware of the fact that Sal's DVD among other Gambling Expose DVDs are basically demos of cheating moves and do not teach actual technique.

Their goal is to expose methods and not to teach you the mechanics to execute the moves yourself.

I hope this helps.

Bottom line: I do enjoy them and still watch them regardless.
