Hello all!
I was wondering if anyone knows of any good published routines for the chop cup that can be used in a table hopping atmosphere? The one I currently use requires a servant, and would just not be practical while table hopping. Thanks

There's a mini chop cup routine from Doug Brewer's book "The unexpected visitor".

There's a routine that uses a metal jigger/shot pourer and an olive...good size for walk-around.

The name of that routine is "Jiggernaut" by Mark Jenest. It's available from the Magic Smith, and it's also on Jenest's video,
"Miracles While You Wait."

learn the Don Allen routine. It's perfect for walk around, easy to learn, and never fails to amaze people.

The Jiggernaut routine is perfect for bar work. I use it all the time. But it is not a chop cup. It is more of a one cup effect with an olive, a nice kicker ending, and lots of room for interaction with the spectators.
"Miracles While You Wait" is a good value IMHO. Mark V |

Morrisey's Magic in Toronto have a very inexpensive pamphlet on the chop cup.
As for routines, Don Allen's is fantastic. Hope this helps. |

Quote: If you mean Don Alan, you are correct, but his routine did base MORE on sitting at a table, that was the strenght of his final laods..it isn't designed for tablehopping..you should know that!On 2005-03-17 22:20, Renaldi wrote:

Considering that his post was over 3 years ago, he's probably found and is doing a routine by now...
