I'm making a DVD loaded with original tricks. Here's just one of them:
Effect: Using a borrowed deck, the magician lets the spectator shuffle. Then, without touching anything, he lets the spectator pick ANY 5 cards (it can be more if preferred by magician). The magician holds up the 5 cards to the spectator, and lets him touch any one, keep in mind the magician hasn't looked at ANY of the cards yet. Immediately, he knows the card! No spectator help, no mirrors, nothing. So clean, and completely examinable. No special cards! I've fooled so many people, it's unbelievable! People tell me they'll buy my DVD just for that. Copyright 2002 Yoey There's more to come. I just wanted to know, how would I market my DVD? |

Contact either MagicSmith or Murphy's Magic Supplies in a professional manner and tell them about your DVD and ask them if you could get it shot. I think you need to establish a name first though or else no one will be apt to buy your stuff. Keep thinking though. Sounds good.

If you need help with DVD authoring and menu/chapter creation, contact me privately as I have now successfully worked on 8 different projects and have a little bit of experience in this field.

The sad, but true, fact of life is:
Unless you have a readily recognizable name there is a good chance no one will want to shell out the initial cost to produce it in quantities for sale. I would suggest that you sell individual tricks because the cost of production is lower and if it is a good trick, with name people endorsing it, it would have a better chance of selling. Bryan
Oh sure, I can spell "Antidisestablishmentarianism", but I can't type t-h-e.

Bryan, you'd be surprised. Just look at the new product listings for the last year or two, and tell me how many of those are not names. There are more than you think.
