I have found two DVDs on roxie routines, David Williamson and Steve Kirchner. Does anyone know which might be the better particularly to entertain kids? Or does anyone know of a better one?

I haven't seen Steve Kirchners work But if you go to YOUTUBE and do a search for David Williamsons you will find some very interesting videos of him performing with rocky. This are not instructional but you cansee him in action. Based on what I Have seen of these videos I would have to imagine his instuctional dvd is great.

I have both David Williamson and Steve Krchner video,
I recommended David Williamson's DVD. As MagicB1S mentioned, this is not included instructional, but you can learn a lot of Rockey's movement from this DVD. And I recommend the Jim Pace's "Spring Puppets Video" too. Koji |

Does Williamson's DVD show more of Roxie than is shown on You Tube?

For those who haven't caught it yet. "Roxie" is a Magic Makers copy of the original "Rocky Racoon." I'm pretty certain anything David Williamson does is done with "Rocky."

No one does Rocky better than Dave Williamson, but Jim Pace's "Making Your Spring Puppets Alive" does an excellent job of teaching the moves, whereas Dave's DVD is more of a performance.

This is an excellent routine for both children and adults, After all, the booklet that comes with Rocky teaches the handling quite well, but David Williamson truly brings the raccoon to life!
