Hi members of Magic Café..
I wonder if anyone knows about the grade of flash paper. As we know that the quality of flash paper is just as thin as kleenex. Is there a thick quality of Flash paper, like A4 copy paper. Another word, higher G.S.M Quality paper...? Thanks hope to hear some help from here... Thanks |

I think the point of flash paper is the flash, thicker paper would need more O2 to burn and would therefore take longer. not so much flash
That said, find a supplier near you and ask them to make some thicker stuff for you. I'd start off with a small amount, maybe 1 or 2 flash pad sized bits and see how it behaves. If you can, try to weigh some tissue and a similar sized piece of copy paper to get a better feel for the mass difference. I think you'll be surprised.

ACMP you are very correct, I have just started to manufacture a 100grm paper, it does burn slower, I am going to call it fire paper.
very soon I will be selling note pads made from this paper, to look just like a regular note book. Also fire playing cards and some very other cool effects. As soon as it is ready for sale, it will be advertised on Magicweek and obtainable from your local dealer. hope this helps adam illusioncraft |
