The twisting foot trick...okay it's my trick and kind of a shameless plug, but use it almost every performance.

Greetings and Salutations Big Dog,
Take your time and practice, practice, practice. The cups and balls is the world's greatest magic, IMHO. There are countless resources out there to assist you. Michael Ammar's Cups and Balls book and DVDs are great starting points as is the Steven's Magic C&B DVD and even 25 tricks with the C&B, which is super cost-effective, bordering on cheap. After that Gazzo and Cellini's stuff is super, and the sky's the limit after that. Scout around in The sidewalk shuffle and Ever so sleightly forums, somebody posted a tripod.com web site with more resources for the C&Bs than you can get through. Start with either the Wilson (from the Mark Wilson Course in Magic book) routine, the first routine from 25 Tricks or Ammar's first routine and go from there. If the trick's for you, and you study a number of different routines, you'll find your own routine soon enough. Good luck and have fun. Joe in KC |

I would like to see a trick where everyone goes back to street performing and busking instead of "ambush magic" which seems to be so popular for some reason.

A modified version of "waving the aces". It requires no table and is candy for the eyes.
