I remember Alain Choquette did it in one of the World's Greatest Magic series. He performed with a poem. Where can we buy that kind of thread?
Thanks for helping!

They use to, may still have, at that Canadian shop Camirand, or something like that.

Camirand Academy does produce this thread. It is what Eugene Burger now uses, due to its high visibility, even on stage.

Is that really why he uses that yellow thread?

Now I finally know!

The book, DVD, and thread combo can be found here -
http://www.camirandmagic.com/mv_004.html

You can also get just the thread in 25yard spools -
http://www.camirandmagic.com/ac_040_s.html

...and 500yard spools -

Just to note that the thread is UV sensitive (Fluorescent) and not "Glow-in-the Dark" (Phosphorescent). You will require a good ultraviolet light source to achieve the "glowing" effect as seen on World's Greatest Magic.

Which WGM did Alain perform the Gypsy Thread on? I do not remember it for some reason.

Regan,

According to a quick search, It looks like it was the very first "World's Greatest Magic" in which it appeared.

Ah, thanks Michael. That is probably why I had forgotten it. It has been a while since I saw it.

Thanks again!
