I would appreciate anyone willing to help me in tracking down a problem with my web site.

Apparently some people can find the links on my page okay and others cannot. To trouble shoot this problem I am trying to find the similarities between those who can get to the links and those who cannot.

Here is where you can help. Please send me a PM telling me if you are successful or not, and what systems you are using ie: 1) Browser and version, 2) Firewall and version, 3) The name of your Internet provider.

When you visit this page: http://www.kippsherrymagic.info/sales/store.htm you should see 4 of my effects for sale. The top one should be Kings Fool and you should see a picture of the product. Actually all four products should each have a picture. If you do not see the picture for each of the products then you don't have a link to the "buy" page for that product.

If you see the pictures then follow that link to the next page. At the top of this next page you should see a larger picture of the cards. If you don't the first words you will see is "Inspired by 'Klipped' from Tannen's Magic in New York City". What do you see on this page?

Whether you see the links or not I would appreciate anyone willing to take the time to PM me and tell me whether you see the image or not and your system information I stated above.

With your help I can hopefully find similarities between those who see the image and those who do not. This one has tech support and myself pulling our hair out.

Thanks in advance for your help.
Until we appear again,
Kipp Sherry

I tried it and it worked fine on my end Kipp. I saw the images and clicked on the links and it took me to the pages that had your larger image and your text and selling information. It worked fine on my PC (HP) running on a cable modem and through the AOL broswer. Hope this helps.

Looks like so far it is working well. This is a great way to conduct usability testing from people with different systems and running different browsers. I hope you get all the information you are after.

Everything worked fine on this end. XP IE/FIREFOX. Throw me a PM and we can talk more in depth about what may be causing the problem

I appreciate everyone who helped with this problem.

For the benefit of the Techies here, I'll share what I have discovered so far. Apparently there is a bug in Internet Explorer that sometimes causes it to read Cascading Style Sheets improperly.

I have not yet discovered a solution or patch to fix it. If I find it I will post it for all who are interested.

Until we appear again,
