I just thought of this idea: A spectator signs their own bill with a marker. The performer does a bill switch and gives back the higher bill still signed. Is this effect out there yet? If not, any ideas how it can be done?
Or maybe the opposite can happen. The spectator signs their own $5. The performer hands back a signed $1. The performer hands out 4 more ones to match the previous $5. I just thought of a idea where it can happen. But before I list it I will have to polish it up. |

I believe this is a trick Criss Angel would accomplish with a stooge.

I have been doing this very trick for 25 years in my Trade Shows. It is a signature piece and I don't use stooges. I would actually like to start a thread on this as my method is becoming more difficult to do.
"The New York Papers," Mark Twain once said,"have long known that no large question is ever really settled until I have been consulted; it is the way they feel about it, and they show it by always sending to me when they get uneasy. "

Shouldn't this be taken to the secret sessions? IF we want to discuss "how to's" anyway.

There is a method for this, with the addition of a snappy visual change of the $5 to a $1 in Richard's Almanac by James Ringali (sp?) It might not work when all the old-style 5's go out of circulation, which around seems to be, uh, yesterday.

MJM Magic has "Richard's Almanac". I'm not crazy about the effect. Maybe I need to see it in action.
