I'm considering going to the Castle on Friday 11/24, the day after Thanksgiving. Any idea how busy it will be? I know Fridays are generally really busy, I'm just wondering if the holiday weekend will tend to make it more or less crowded.
Thanks, Ross Hironaka |

Ross, Brian Dow should be performing that week. Make sure to catch his act. I'll be there the night before Thanksgiving, have fun, Rick

Thanks, Cardfather. We went, we saw, it was awesome. I enjoyed Brian Dow's act, Thom Peterson has us in stitches, and Dan Sperry was spectacular. The Castle was packed but we were also able to catch Steve Mayhew, Arthur Trace, and Jonathan Levit. I went Friday night with family and friends, then returned for Saturday brunch with more friends and my niece (13) and nephew (10). In addition to the Palace Show, we caught Farrell Dillon's Parlour show, which was hilarious. Good times.

I went to The Magic Castle for Sunday brunch the weekend before Thanksgiving. As far as crowds go, it took the three of us 45 minute to get through the doors with about 20 people still behind us. We arrived to our 12:30 seating for brunch about 30 minutes early and was seated. We were the first people in the buffet line which was really nice because when I went back for seconds the line was quite long. The shows were full to maximum and I believe they added a second close up show.
This was our first visit to the Castle and found it very enjoyable. All of the magicians we saw were very talented and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring and looking at all the pictures and antiques. The amount of people that were there on Sunday did not affect our good time. The place is so big that the only time you notice the crowd is when the shows let out. |
