Okay you all know the Larry Jennings routine, its a classic.
Now I want to show you my performance of it. I was a bit drunk during this session so I nearly ruined the km move. I had to re-dubb it in english because I had performed it first in german language so I recorded the audio seperatly and replaced it on the video. I hope you will like it. Your technique is great, but if you don't mind, I do have 1 comment about the routine. The whole purpose of the invisible palm routine is that you are making aces turn invisible and they re-materialize when you place them down on the table. Turning them into the royal flush doesn't make sense and actually goes against what you are trying to do. Yes it is a nice kicker, but I think that the trick itself is better without the royal flush.

It makes sense because I prefer the royal flush instead of the 4 aces so change them into the flush
Thanks for your comments so far and don't be afraid to post some more opionions humble greetings Jerry |

Not a bad job but I agree the change into the royal flush doesn't make any sense. You may like it but that doesn't mean it makes sense to your spectators. Telling them you like the royal flush better still has them sitting there saying "ok yeah so?" You can make it work but the original way of showing the aces have become visible is much stronger, then having them change to four different cards.

Please, please, please don't invoke Larry Jennings' name in conjunction with this routine. None of the work is even remotely similar to Larry's Invisible Palm Aces - especially the way you handle and re-handle the packets and openly exchange them, all just to make your "kicker" ending work out.
Because of the controversy that surrounded the origins of this effect (and continues to this day), Jennings went on record as claiming only to have originated the "no contact" handling of the two ace packets (the "source" packet and the "destination" packet). That particular handling is what distinguished Larry's Invisible Palm Aces from all the various inferior versions out there - including this one. TW

I've seen a few Ivis palm Aces with this ending. I believe Kenner has one in his book too.
I feel the change, presented properly, makes sense. You are doing a "cheating" demonstration on how to palm cards, and thus add them to your hand. In the end, you show the "ultimate" use of said technique by invisibly switching ALL of the cards at once for the ULTIMATE hand.

I found the idea quite interesting and a logical ending to this classical routine, even if I agree with TW comment concerning the Jennings source. Yannick Chretien has a similar change in his last DVD.

I've always had mixed feelings about Invisible Palm routines. The first time I saw one I had a very limited knowledge of magic techniques, but as far as I could tell the guy who did it was relatively skilled. In spite of that, when he lifted his hand and another card had mysteriously appeared I could only think of one place that card could have come from and it wasn't his palm. So the fact that I had seen though one major part of the method pretty easily as a near layman left me a little cold on this effect.
Even though this video was posted ages ago I'll say that I found it kind of confusing overall, but I'm not sure how much of that had to do with the patter. |

His patter wasn't that straightforward but I believe that one can easily justify changing them into a royal flush. Just because the Invisble Palm is called the "Invisible Palm" does not mean that it must be restricted to being presented as only a demonstration of Invisibly Palming a card. One can even give the Invisible Palm routine the feeling of a coins across routine. I do a switch out for four aces in my invisible palm and I have tested both without and with the switch. I always get better reactions with the switch out. Its all about how you present it because to me the invisible palm done normally without some sort of kicker is just to bland because its the same thing happening too many times without variety.

Yeap. And if you insist, why not "invisible palming" at the end a royal flush to justify winning your Poker Hand..

I posted the list of (hopefully) all the variants on the Invisible palm with as much video as possible at
