I will be receiving the manuscript for this effect this week. Is there a type of rubberband that is best to use (size, brand, etc.)? I want to have the rubberbands before I get the explanation. Any tips on performing this effect would be much appreciated.

Blue, go to your local office supply store and look for either #19 or #16 rubber bands. This will depend on your preference, entirely. A bag of each will run you about 69 cents, so get both and see what works! Good luck with CMH--it's my favorite trick to do, out of all of them!
