For a stage show, I would like to include a bill to lemon type effect, but I don't want (or am trying to avoid) having to buy a new lemon for everyshow. Not the price (It's a lemon!) but just for convenience.

DO you know any stage appropriate places a signed bill can appear in that need not be replaced every show?

I was thinking maybe the sharpie used to sign it, but I don't think this would be visible enough on stage.

The size of the bill never changes, so visibility has nothing to do with what you find it in. What's wrong with a zipper compartment in your wallet or in a sealed envelope?

I forgot the name of the prop. But is a small brass tube/capsule with a small pad lock on the cap. At the end the signed bill is found rolled up inside the locked tube.
