IERoX is a new effect by Erick Castle in which you transform your finger ring into a coin visually at the fingertips.
Seller: http://www.magicshop.co.uk Price: £8.99 (approx $15) Format: Instant Download video Effect: You take a coin and openly place it in your pocket, you then proceed to take off your ring and hold it up at the fingertips. Now as you shake the ring, it visually changes into the coin. Not only that, but you then remove the ring from your pocket. My thoughts: I bought this off of the fact that I loved the Gallerian Bend, and I like this to. For me this is a great little effect that requires next to no sleight of hand, but a gimmick is used which is very easy to make, and can be made from something which you prob have at home, or if not, can be bought very cheaply. Also the gimmick is easy to keep hidden. So if your looking for a nice little transposition/transformation then this is a nice effect, but it does have some downfalls. First the ring can't be borrowed, it must be your own. For some this may be an issue, for others not. Also it may be difficult going into other effects after due to the fact that your left a little dirty, but this can be overcome and the gimmick is easy to conceal. Pros: Visual Easy to do Cons: Ring can't be borrowed Left a little dirty Overall: I like this effect and will use it, so for me it was a good buy. Its highly visual, easy to do and used at the right moment will get good reactions. I don't like rating things out of 10 or 5 etc, so instead I'll say that its not an absolute must have, but then its not bad either. Its at the mid point of being both good, quick, visual and usable to some and but may not be for others. Thanks. |

I hope this is helpful, and thanks again for taking a interest in my work. Regards, -Erick

I'm not exactly sold on the demo video as its very small to actually see whats going on. Is there another demo lurking around the net?

Hello Paul,
This is the only video-footage I've got now, I'm not exactly sure what you're expirencing in trouble with viewing the (Demo). But I appreciate you taking a interest in my work, best wishes -Erick

I just downloaded this, and what can I say it's another amazing effect. I was quite suprised to find out the clever method behind this, I still have to get used to the (Gimmick) but it's a nice effect. Also, the bonus effect is really cool although it's not easy, I see this being very practical.
