Anyone care to tell me if this ring and rope routine is recommended?
Rings On Rope Six large rings are displayed and shown on both sides. Three of them are bright red in color and the other three are bright yellow. The rings are fastened to a length of rope by means of clips attached to the rope-first the three red, then the three yellow. The ends of the rope are brought together and the rope loop is given a simple twist. Suddenly, the rings change positions. It is seen that they are now mixed along the rope alternatively RED and YELLOW! The effect is repeated. Just as magically, the rings segregate themselves out again-all the yellow being on one side and all the red on the other. As a bonus, you get Pavel’s Silks & Rings routine in which a yellow silk is tied to a yellow ring and a red silk to a red ring and the silks change places on the rings. Use these rings and your own silks.

I have used Pavel's rings on rope many times, even for magicians and always get a good reaction. It's very visual and the change takes place right in front of the audience. I'd say it's well worth the investment.

If you have access to the Pavel videos published by L&L you can find this effect demonstrated and explained on vol. 3, Pavel's Cabaret Potpourri.
