Is a new book by Michael Port. It is a great book on getting more business. It helps you discover who you are, what you do, why you do it and how to tell others (I am only up to chapter 4 so far)
When you buy the book, you can go to his website and download a workbook that goes along with it (about 88 pages) of questions and exercises.
It is the best book I have read in ages on this subject. It is aimed at service professionals or people who's services (like performers) ARE the product.

I couldn't believe it. I was holding the darn thing in my hand and reading chapter 3 when I booted up the internet and loaded the Café.

I got it for Christmas and had been wanting to purchase it (it was on a list of some 30 books or so I carry in my pocket to get when I could) so I was very happy to start reading it.

It is very good. It is encouraging. As long as you apply, think through what he's talking about, you can really do something to "work your business."

Take a look at it.

I own it,and have been reading it for a few days. I can't put it down. It's very good, a lot of material that actually works! And no I'm not being paid to say this. For 25 bucks and cheaper on Amazon, it's well worth it.

I just bought this book and it should be here by Tuesday. Have you guys honestly had any success with these techniques. Notice anymore bookings from the techniques used?

I am still working my way through the book and am just starting to impliment some ideas.

It's not a quick fix. It is going to take some time.

So I just received this book. I have to admit, it has some good ideas. I have a few questions though. Are you guys able to apply the ideas in this book to magic? Also, when someone actually tries to work some of these ideas, I would like to know how it worked out for you. Thanks.

As I said above, I am still making my way through the book, but I have plans to use many of the ideas for my marketing and promotion.
