I'm very much an amateur, but I performed the Hindu Rope Trick on stage in 1955, helped design, and built, an illusion that vanished 12 people suspended on a platform held by a large crane over the Charles River in Cambridge, MA as part of the climax of a Cambridge River Festival in the mid 1980s before several thousand people, am credited on The American Experience public television show helping with Houdini's Water Torture, did same (helping) in Copley Square in rain (much humor doing Water Torture in pouring rain) for FOX TV, which did not air that series, I believe. And have designed some stage illusions that I really enjoyed seeing performed.
