Before posting a subject, I look for it in the quicksearch, and about these books (volume 1, more exactly)there are some opinion, but I have some doubts:
1.- What percentage of this material is published in other sources? 2.- L&L reprinted volume 1, but: Is volume 2 out of print? 2.- Any table of contents about volume 2? As volume 1, is it all cards? Thanks in advance |

Well with that line up it's got to be worth the money!
The best thing about Harry's first two volumes was despite the fact that they were MASSIVE publications, they contained contributions from a number of top guys so there isn't any filler. If you think about it, that's quite an achievement for books of this size (clearly a 'name' isn't going to ruin his reputation by submitting dross - or at least one would hope not). Harry's books are stacked with workable material. So often now I'm reading pipe dreams - not commerical, audience tested routines/effects. Two books I've brought thus far this year aren't worth the paper they are written on quite honestly to somebody that's relying on the contents to make a living! I personally can't wait for Volume 3 - and if you haven't got Vols 1&2 contact Harry direct; he's one of magic's nice guys and may even do you a deal! If you are a bit short at the moment, raid the house or the attic and earn a few quid on ebay but GET THEM. They are dynamite!

I agree about 'the worth' of these two books - and I've made reference to them on previous posts - some fantastic sandwich routines. There is, however, a routine where coins travel to a card box - I've tried and tried - oh well

I have recently bought volume 1 and 3 as well as Harry's Classic Collection. Each tome is outstanding in my opinion. Fantastic stuff Harry.
